About Us

Meridian Missionary Baptist Church strives to meet the biblical standard of a church and fully meet the spiritual needs of the surrounding communities.  Jesus says in Matthew 28:19-20:

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.  Amen."

The Church's desire is to fulfill the will of Christ in seeing souls saved, baptized, added to serve, and taught His doctrines.

Meridian MBC was organized November 9th, 1974 by the authority of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Minden, Louisiana.  The missionary and first pastor was Elder Thomas Judd.

In 1972, Brother Judd started laboring for the Lord in the area with his wife and 3 children.  The mission work was called Ada County Baptist Mission at that time.  The work prospered with the Lord's blessing and was organized with 24 members into the Ada County Missionary Baptist Church.  In February 1986 the name of the Church was changed to Meridian Missionary Baptist Church.

Since her organization, the Church has had 10 different pastors to lead, teach, and preach over a period of 40 years.  Many souls have been saved in those 40 years and The Lord has blessed the Church.

Ephesians 3:21 "Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
